Jeena's Scones Recipe

I should thank internet for bringing out my abilities in cooking. A big thanks from an infant cook! I am still trying to step carefully in the cooking world just like a baby who learns to walk. All these days I shared some of my mother's recipes with some sites and tried to learn from other expert cooks ... I love to call everyone "expert" who cook a simple dish very tastily.. Net gave me opportunity to meet many like that. They all, including our food bloggers do a great job .
Yeah, this is my 200th post and let me remember all those helping hands behind the screen..
I cannot leave the place without thanking some of my senior friends like Mrs.Latha Jayaprakash,Mrs.Mano Saminathan, Mrs. Chithra Viswanath and Mrs. Seetha lakshmi Amma. I know many of you might have seen their wonderful recipes in different sites.
My 200th post Scones recipe is also from a great friend, Jeena. Thanks Jeena!
And special thanks to all my lovely readers who keep sending very nice feed backs... :)
Ok, let us see this simple recipe......

Ingredients and method

Flour 1 1/4 cup (maida)
baking powder 2 tsp
chopped dates 4 or raisins

salt 1 pinch

  1. Hi Seena,
    Congratulations for the big "200"..
    And belated Onam ashamsakal.
This recipe is very simple. I guess only thing is to make the dough properly!
And now its my turn to thank you again, for instilling that feeling, that I can cook good if I try. You know, for the first time I prepared Sadhya and I added your Erissery to that list.
Before having that Lunch I remembered you and thanked you.

Thank you Seena... may your blog show a 1000 posts and still go on.. This is the hope that burns inside the hearts of those who eagerly look forward to your blog, to bring happiness in their homes by cooking!!
