Thenga chammanthi / coconut chutney



Ingredients
coconut grated- 1 cup,
shallots(small onions)-5 nos,
tamarind-1 goose berry size or raw mango pieces-of one mango,
curry leaves -few,
ginger - 1 inch piece,
chilly powder-one tea spoon,
green chilly - 2
salt
garlic - 1 clove optional

Method
Grind all the ingredients together .
Have with rice and curd,vegetable curry or fish curry.
Best with dosas and idlies also.
